This project includes a 3.12-mile concrete trail along the CenterPoint utility corridor, parallel to S. Gessner Rd, between Westpark Tollway and Southwest Freeway. When complete, the Centerpoint/Sharpstown Trail will take advantage of an underutilized green space within the community to provide connectivity, health, safety, and economic benefits. It will connect the Sharpstown Neighborhood to the existing Westchase Trails to the North and to the Brays Bayou Greenway to the South.

The project is divided in three phases:

• Phase I consists of the section between Sands Point Drive to Beechnut Street
• Phase II consists of the section Beechnut Street to Brays Bayou Greenway
• Phase III consists of the section between Sands Point Drive and Westpark Tollway
