PROJECT UPDATE – September 2020
The study team has completed the existing conditions analysis, verified areas impacted by flooding, and identified the sources of flooding within the study limits. The study is on schedule and the study team is ready to begin the next stage of the effort, the alternatives analysis.
- September 15, 2020 – Harris County Commissioners Court authorized the acquisition of two tracts of land in support of this project.
- March 24, 2020 – Harris County Commissioners Court approved $820,000 for engineering services for this project.
- September 24, 2019 – Harris County Commissioners Court authorized and initiated this project
